DIY Rose Clay Face Mask

I have a large bag of Kaolin Rose Clay that I use in some of the products I create.  Rose Clay can be used in a variety of ways for self pampering - one of them being a natural and homemade face mask!

Rose Clay is a mild Kaolin Clay and can be used on sensitive skin.  It has exfoliating properties and works really well to gently purify and cleanse the skin.  That's why we use it in our Rose + Coconut Body Polish.  It also helps detoxify the skin by drawing impurities from pores.  It only makes sense to use as a facial mask!  If it's used regularly, this mask will draw impurities and oils to the surface to be washed away, which will help reduce the appearance of oily skin and clogged pores. The exfoliating and polishing action gradually reduces the appearance of pores and puffiness.

Here's my simple, two ingredient, DIY for a Rose Clay Face Mask.

1 tbs of Kaolin Rose Clay (I recommend THIS ONE
1 tbs of Rose Water

1.  Combine both ingredients in a small bowl, mixing them until it forms a thick paste.  You can add more water if  it's too dry, or add more clay if it's too wet.

2.  Apply to clean face and leave it on for about 15 - 20 mins until it drys completely.  Gently rinse face clean.  Spray on Rose Water and apply your favorite moisturizer.

THAT'S IT!  Simple, all natural, and you can do it yourself.  My face felt clean and firm after I rinsed it off.

*update*. I also made my boyfriend do the face mask and he loved the way it made his face feel.
